Susie is a true team player. When a very difficult and frequent patient came into the ED she volunteered to check him in. Then she cleaned him up, and even though he is here often and is rude/difficult to staff, she patiently listened to his concerns. She advocated for him to get additional treatment and care.
She is also very involved in teaching through the department and at Athens Tech. She creates power points and required readings, as well as participates in a journal club to keep her skills up to date. She is an excellent nurse every day, and this is just one example.
