Susanne has been a preceptor on our unit for many years. "One evening I needed her assistance in assessing a patient's skin" writes her nominator. As we turned the patient over we noticed the patient was soiled and needed cleaning. Instead of leaving me to clean up the patient, Susanne immediately started cleaning the patient without any hesitation or complaint. She embodies what it is to a true dedicated nurse, selfless, hardworking, generous in time and knowledge.
