I am writing to express my deepest appreciation for Susie, whose extraordinary dedication and compassion have made a tremendous difference in my daughter's care during her fight against leukemia.

Susie has consistently gone above and beyond for our family.

One evening, she stayed past her scheduled shift so that my daughter could receive a blood transfusion and avoid being admitted overnight. Her willingness to sacrifice her own time spared us added stress and provided comfort during an already overwhelming period.

On another occasion, Susie personally walked to the Emergency Room to access my daughter's port because the ER pediatric nurse declined to do so due to my daughter being 18. Instead of allowing us to struggle or wait unnecessarily, Susie stepped in without hesitation.

Her advocacy ensured my daughter received timely care and reminded us that we had someone truly in our corner.

Throughout this journey, Susie has relieved so much of the emotional burden we carry. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine concern have made one of the hardest experiences of our lives more bearable.

Nurses like Susie are rare, and her impact on patients and families cannot be overstated.

We are profoundly grateful for everything she has done.
