Suzanne is one of the most dedicated nurses I have had the pleasure of working with! I worked with Suzanne for several years on the night shift. I witnessed Suzanne devote her time not only to her patients but to all patients on the unit with compassion! She not only provided excellent care to the patients with her knowledge but is also willing to assist her peers at any time. She demonstrates excellence in teaching patients new skills/education while providing a compassionate bedside manner. I have witnessed her motivate the most unwilling patient and I have seen her care for each of her patients as if they were her family member. I am fortunate to have worked side by side with her and was able to learn how to incorporate these skills into my practice as well. Suzanne is a member of Shared Leadership and Unit Based Council. She is the reason I became involved in SL and UBC myself. She took me 'under her wing' and encouraged me to become involved as much as possible. Thank you for all you do Suzanne!
