My mother was put on hospice care. It was a very difficult decision for our family (my husband, son, daughter-in-law, and me). Suzanne helped make the decision easier through her kindness and answering our questions about the process. Nothing was a bother to her and my mother even told Suzanne that she loved her (she does not say that to people on a regular basis). But Suzanne's caring was so evident, my mother truly had to mean what she said. My mother is 90 and has been in the hospital on other occasions, but the relationship Suzanne developed with Mom was far above and beyond previous experiences. Her concern for the family, as well, was exceptional. She asked often about our well-being as this was a difficult time for all of us. My family took turns staying by Mom's bedside. The one night it was really cold in the room and she got me and my husband blankets since we were spending the night with my mom. She went above and beyond her job description. She was the most caring nurse that I have ever encountered. Thank you.
