A DAISY Honoree makes a special connection with patients and families, uses compassion and skill to deliver extraordinary patient care, includes the patient and family as part of the care team. A DAISY Nurse is flexible, has a proactive leadership style, embraces change with a positive attitude and commits to the highest standards of nursing.
