This year, during Nurses Week, one unit nominated their leader numerous times in various categories to recognize her leadership, Suzy Freeman, Director of Critical Care. Suzy's unit wrote:
"She is a fierce leader, but is very kind to her employees. Suzy does not settle for second best with patient care or with policies and procedures. She sets a very high bar and upholds us to accountability."
"Suzy is very mother-like and understands what needs to be done in situations. She loves all her staff and patients and goes above and beyond to make sure we are taken care of. We are blessed to have this amazing nurse leader as a coach, mentor, and a wealth of knowledge and experience."
