I want to nominate Margaret Hauser-Ullman, Cala Pellerin, Lory Tudor, and Nancy Cook. While I was there for my procedure they were so nice and professional. I cannot say more about them, they were great!

I am nominating Mollie McMahon and Jaclyn Hoag from ENDO. I have had multiple upper and lower endoscopies over the last 20 years. 3 years ago I had a very bad experience with doing my scope. I also had surgery after that scope that could be affected by this upper endoscopy; going into my most recent endoscopy I thought I was cool, calm, and relaxed but I was only fooling myself.
These 2 nurses listened to my story, passed it along to the new provider, and over and over again reassured me of my safety and wellbeing. They were direct with me “stating we see how unnerving your last procedure was. This time it will be different.” And it was night and day. I felt 3 years ago no one heard me, this time the world heard me because of these 2 nurses. Besides listening, (which is huge in my mind), easy to say hard to do, their infection control techniques were impeccable, bedside manner wonderful. It is not always easy taking care of a colleague. Mollie and Jackie make a great team and are a wonderful asset to the ENDO department and to SVMC. Thank you Mollie and Jackie for being the excellent nurses that you are!
