Synde is a tireless advocate for Sarcoma patients. She supports Dr. L by being present in almost all of her patient visits - this includes three full days of clinics per week. Dr. L has a patient panel of over 350 patients. She is relentless in her service to these patients. She ensures that all the details of their care are attended to. Her compassion, patience and sensitivity know no bounds.
Although Sydne is the constant presence for most of these patients, she does not do it all alone. She works with three other fine Sarcoma nurses who all work together as an effective, caring team. All of them see Synde as deserving of this award - she is truly one of the pillars of the Sarcoma Clinic's team of clinical excellence.
