Sydney developed a relationship with our father/father-in-law by sitting at his bedside and truly listening to him and when we would visit, she was able to share his stories like a family member. Through her relationship with him and us (his family), she went out of her way to schedule a GEM visit/consultation that helped bring clarity to the next steps for us to help our "Dad". She was perfect for him and was able to get him to eat when daughters were not.
Sydney used recent classes taken (GEM) and (Oral Hygiene) to put in practical use by counseling our family in the next steps. She is an extremely mature young lady and a true professional nurse with a special gift of drive to help her patient and patient's family in a love-felt manner. She is a nurse that has made a difference in a positive way; that is rare for someone so young with a niche to care for an older adult. She is a keeper.
