Sydney Godett, BSN, RN

Our family wants to nominate Sydney for the extraordinary caring and compassion she showed to our son. He came back to the hospital two days after he was discharged from his heart surgery and that was a very difficult and stressful situation to deal with. Sydney was there for him, showing empathy, trying to cheer him up and make him feel comfortable. She was always friendly and kind, she understood all of his needs and fears. Her smile was the best "medicine" for him. She helped by keeping him in a good mood and we are grateful for that. And of course, her nursing skills are excellent.
