Our son's hospital stay was complicated, thus extending our stay considerably in the ICU and TCU. Then there was Sydney. What a bright light amidst the darkness! She made us feel as if we were the only family she was caring for. She answered every question thoroughly and honestly. If she didn't have an answer, she vowed to find it, and she closed the communication loop on every promise. She advocated to house us, she researched additional information to stay well informed (and to keep us up to speed) and she tirelessly facilitated communication with the rest of the care team including the vast number of specialists. Every one of our concerns was validated and addressed. We felt so loved and cared for while under her watch. Thank you for going above and beyond.
