My father was recently hospitalized at Riverside after a fall. He is elderly and suffered a fracture at his pelvis. I live out of state and had to travel by car for a day to get to Williamsburg and I was in touch with Sydney by phone. She was very responsive to my questions and very reassuring to me. Every time I checked in Sydney did not hesitate to tell me to travel safely and really made me feel dad was in good hands until I arrived. Sydney is clearly a person who genuinely cares for the patients and their families. Once I got to Riverside and the days she was on my dad's unit, Sydney always responded quickly to any concerns with a smile. It is difficult to enjoy any time spent in the hospital, but Sydney's personality and warmth made it much easier for my dad and for me.
