Sydney is often found holding the hand of her patients to make them feel comfortable and cared for. I thank Sydney for seeing patients' pain and the relief she brings them and not the number of medication trips. I thank her for treating them with dignity and respect. I thank her for her composure and calmness when their O2 stats are dropping and they are still full code and for her care for them when they are scared. Thank you for being "that" nurse, if I was in the bed, I'd want you to be my nurse.
