Sydney Spencer stopped at the scene of a vehicle accident for a car that had careened off the street striking another vehicle. The driver was slumped over the steering wheel, not breathing and found to have no pulse. Sydney assisted in performing CPR on the driver until paramedics arrived on the scene.
If not for the efforts of Sydney and two other people passing by, the unresponsive man might not have survived. Instead, starting CPR meant the difference between life and death and this man returned to life! It all happened on the sidewalk in front of the Turnage Theatre as bystanders looked on. You are never too young or too old to learn lifesaving techniques.
