For three days my son bled uncontrollably without explanation. We went to another hospital first and were left scared, and he was apprehensive of more rough nurses. So, when we got admitted to Dell, we never expected a night of NG tubes and pain to also be reassuring. Sydney connected with our family, especially our son with humor and kindness so much so, his demeanor towards the process changed. Sydney made an intolerable situation tolerable. She got him to smile through the pain and for me to keep my sanity. She was never more than 30 seconds away either. Sydney is a superwoman and my personal hero of this story. Thank you, Sydney!
