My mother has never been sick. She has not been in a hospital since she had me, 45 years ago. Her surgery was major and it is taking her longer to heal than expected. Sylvia took the time to tell us her story at a time when my mother was at her lowest and ready to give up. I am so grateful for Sylvia's insight and words of encouragement. It helped us make it through a very tough night.
