Sylvia has gone above and beyond to ensure that not only were my mom's needs met but that I was continuously informed and understood everything my mom's team was saying. Sylvia hugged me when I was at a low moment and kept reminding me how strong my mom was - as if she had known us for years. I felt as if she treated her like her own family, and never once did we feel like we were in need of anything. She stuck around to joke with us, find out more about who my mom is, and advocate for us with her doctors. She made herself available and present for everything. Even after three 12-hour shifts in a row she was patient, kind, and caring. You can tell that she loves her job and takes pride in it.
