Sylvia Garrett, RN

Sylvia went above and beyond during my delivery and postpartum experience. Not only did Sylvia ensure I was kept comfortable and anticipated every need, but after my c-section, I hemorrhaged badly, and she kept me alive. From ensuring meds were administered as soon as possible, and getting additional help, to praying by my bedside with me and my family, I truly have never seen a nurse care more about her patient.

Sylvia held my hand after they took my baby to the NICU. She prayed with me at discharge for my baby and gave me a hug when we left. I wouldn’t be alive today if it weren’t for Sylvia’s dedication and attention to detail. I truly appreciate every bit of care she offered during my stay.

A nurse can make or break your hospital stay, and I’m so thrilled to say that despite all of the bad things that happened to me during my stay, Sylvia was there for me the entire time and cared for me as if I were family. Sylvia, even if you never see this, I hope you know you made a difference in my life.
