I was so sick when admitted and scared. All the care I received was amazing, but Sylvia certainly stands out. She is efficient, warm and obviously highly skilled. She always made me feel safe and secure. I had a meltdown one night and was extremely depressed, which is way out of character for me. I was so tired by the time she came on at 7 and couldn't stop crying.
Sylvia immediately spoke to me in a calm, reassuring way and said she was sure my feelings were the result of a bad reaction to my meds (my MD later totally agreed with her opinion). It was a huge relief. She went above and beyond. Every encounter with her was healing.
