This nurse met me at the door and made me feel welcome and comfortable. She could not do enough for me. I sensed her professionalism and dedication immediately. I knew I would be in good hands. Being older I arrived with considerable medical baggage but that didn't phase her. She did everything she could to make me comfortable and answered all of my questions and concerns like a true professional. When the time came for the change of shifts, I was sorry to see her go. But I promised her I would acknowledge her and her professionalism so that is why I am writing this recognition today. This world needs more people who are so dedicated and special like her. She truly is an asset to AMITA Health and to the vast medical world in general. She puts her heart and soul into her work and I am very grateful that she took care of me as my nurse.
