Though “ALL” the nurses that took care of my husband were FANTASTIC, one stood out – “Tabby!” The first time she stepped in the room “lit up” with her professionalism, knowledge of her job, and personality. We were immediately put at ease. She explained everything and was constantly concerned about J and his needs. She was like the Energizer Bunny! We got to know her, and she wasn’t afraid to tell us about herself. That brought a special bond. She reminded us of one of our granddaughters. Always upbeat! After my husband’s surgery, she wasn’t his nurse but kept track of him when she came into work. One day he went into Afib and his nurse a sweetheart tried to get him to put up his feet, sleep and relax but he refused. Tabby came to see him, and he “totally” did what she said to do and the Afib corrected itself. She does have a special way!
