During the summer, there was a festival called Rumble on the River and these people were vendors at that festival. The family was staying at the KOA campground in Knox and the wife went into preterm labor. The couple came to UPMC Northwest for her care that night and the wife ended up being moved to Magee Women’s hospital. The couple was not from this area and the husband was hysterical about getting back to the campground and tearing down camp and getting to Pittsburgh to be with his wife. Tabitha and Melissa drive from the Clarion area. On their way home from work they stopped at the KOA and helped the husband pack up his campsite so he could get to Pittsburgh to be with his wife. These two nurses went above and beyond the call by assisting the family. What a great example of caring!
