I became sick while flying and was transferred to CMC-Mercy during a layover. I am running from an abusive relationship. I am alone, in a strange place, scared, and hurting. Tabitha met my every need. I was showered with such compassion and she helped me understand what was the best plan of care for me. I am unable to think clearly but she had my back. By the end of the first night I had information on all my medications, knew what to expect and was encouraged to voice my opinion about anything. She helped me arrange air transportation and orchestrated my discharge and helped me find my self worth. She is my Guardian Angel in Charlotte.
