Tacia Bullard, MSN, RN, CNL

Tacia holds a master’s in nursing and healthcare practice (MNHP) and MSN-CNL degrees from the University of Iowa College of Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Health, Leisure and Sport Studies, with emphasis in Health Promotion from the University of Iowa. She started her career here as a staff nurse in the Surgical and Neuroscience ICU and was named the Assistant Nurse Manager in March 2012. A few years later, she transitioned to the Cardiovascular ICU as the Assistant Nurse Manager, followed by a Nurse Practice Leader in Nursing Quality. In November 2020, Tacia became the Interim Magnet Program® Director and accepted the formal position as Magnet Program Director two years ago. She is certified as a Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL). She was named one of 100 Iowa Great Nurses in 2024.
