Tai is an amazing student who is prepared each shift. She takes advantage of every opportunity to learn. What sets Tai apart from other students is her willingness to be part of the unit's team. Tai interacts with other members of the team such as the unit secretary, Care Partners, and other RNs. She participates in interdisciplinary rounds as well as the department's visual management huddle. She builds relationships with the staff, which is important in the nursing field. Tai also demonstrates compassion to her patients by listening carefully and explaining things in a way they understand. She does not hesitate to perform essential nursing tasks that keep the patients comfortable and safe, such as ambulation and repositioning. Tai makes precepting easy because she asks questions and is a self-starter. Tai is an extraordinary nursing student because she values excellence and is a team player.
