Amazing!!! Meeting this nurse for the first time felt like meeting an angel! She is an extraordinary nurse, mother, and woman who understood the human side of being a nurse. This nurse went the extra mile to comfort my mom who was in a very uncertain situation. She continued to go beyond her duties with our family. She was there for us the minute our mom passed, and mom felt her pleasant spirit and felt comforted by her. When I first shared my experience with this nurse about my mother, this nurse took the time out of her busy shift to explain to me what was going on and comforted me, and reassured my uncertain decision. My mom entered unit 2E and seven days later, I met this nurse and learned my mom was in the death process. This nurse has been our support on the first day of learning this news. She had two days off and was back to work in time to be with us and comforted us when mom passed on three days later. This nurse specifically chose to be our mom's nurse and without her, by our side, we would not have made it through losing our mom. Thank you-you are an angel. Mom will be looking down on you!!!
