Tai displays the preeminent nursing care North is known for. She was the care provider every patient needs. She advocated for me when I couldn’t for myself in regards to changing my pain meds and calling multiple areas to find someone to restart an IV on her patient that was an extremely hard stick. Tai never was without a smile, kind word, or a joke. Partnered with me in my care by communicating to me next steps, outcomes of certain choices objectively and clearly, explaining medical terms in ways I understood, and diminishing the fear I had of not being able to go home because we all understood this was a problem larger than anticipated upon my initial admittance for a routine procedure. Tai forecasted, planned, executed, and advocated (all with the warmth and friendliness of a new friend) for me every step of my care. I cannot imagine a better nurse professional to be awarded DAISY.
