Takita is a person who's humble, quiet personality works behind the scenes to create a good experience, out of a potentially unpleasant experience. Takita takes the time to tranform each pediatric patient's stuffed animal into a surgical assistant by creating them their own unique outfit. When our children wake up they see their stuffed friend all dressed in operating room attire. Even if she is not working in the patient's room, she is sought out to do her unique work. Takita uses surgical caps and gowns, pieces of mask string, tape and scissors to transform the stuffed animals into a personalized staff member to take home. Each staff member is as excited as our patients to see what she will create from the smallest to the largest stuffed animal.
