Talia Spillett, RN

Talia was the first nurse we chose to primary our daughter, A, who was born prematurely due to severe IUGR at just 1lb 14oz. From the first night we met her, we felt she went above and beyond. Talia was sweet, kind, funny, but most importantly, you could tell she loved our daughter entirely. We believe she were the reason we kept hope in the beginning. Talia called A a "pink girl" and would always design her bed with beautiful pinks. She took time to educate us on A's care and taught us what we would need to do at home. Talia was A's nurse the night her oxygen dropped and she went blue. She remained calm and got our girl back. Upon leaving, Talia personally bought A a pink outfit and included a book. She will forever be part of our story. The NICU isn't an easy place, but because if Talia, it was just a bit easier.
