I appreciate Talyn’s professionalism and her dedication to her craft. Along with that, her compassion, patience, and kindness stand out. She asked all the right questions, had all the right answers, and when she didn’t, Talyn wasn’t afraid to say that she needed to learn more information before answering. I came in during one of the scariest and painful moments in my health journey. With her quiet confidence and authority in a situation where I felt overwhelmed, in pain, and as if I were dying, she assured me all would be well, and she did her best and made it well.
 
She has an extraordinary ability to provide excellent care, treating every concern with seriousness, all while making me feel seen and valued as a person. Having just met her, I’ll never forget her telling me that she thinks I’m special. Her knowledge, expertise, compassion, grace, and skill make her your best nurse on staff here. She treated my rare symptoms as something worthy of care, no matter how odd they sounded. She held space for my pain and didn’t try to rationalize or dismiss anything I said that sounded inexplicable. Ehlers-Danlos complications are rare and unique, and Talyn stepped up to the plate and treated me just as she would need to with your “typical” symptoms. No hesitations! 

Her excellent nursing care sets the prime example for everyone, and I’m glad she was my nurse. I love this hospital because of her. You should give her a raise!! I’ll never forget her excellent nursing: empathy, intuition, confidence, knowledge, expertise, dedication, and beautiful personality and disposition!
