Tamara is an amazing caregiver. She has a sparkling personality, and a kind hearted and compassionate approach to medical care. She explained everything to me completely and professionally, in a way that I could understand and that made sense. She attended to the smallest needs that I had, and did so with a cheerful heart. She instilled confidence in me for what was to come. I was an anxious patient who needed and wanted to know what was going to happen, since it was my first medical procedure in 10 years.
My procedure was delayed, and she made sure we were not forgotten and our needs were met and our questions answered. She followed up immediately on everything that needed doing. Although the GE Lab is her everyday world, it certainly isn't mine. She never assumed I knew things, but always explained in the best way what was going on and why. Her professionalism and thoroughness calmed me tremendously. I was lucky enough to have her in the procedure room too, and she was there helping us all the way through to my discharge. What a special person!
