August 2025 Honoree
Tamara Harp, RN
On early Saturday morning, I drove myself to the ER for severe stomach pains. I had a ruptured appendix and needed emergency surgery. When I woke in the PCU, Nurse Tamara Harp was my attending nurse.
Right away, I was concerned for my dog and my cat because I have nobody here in Panama City to let them in and out. Tamara volunteered to go to my house and give them food, water, and clean litter. Because of Tamara, my animals were safe. Such kind and compassionate people are rare to find.
I can not truly express my appreciation. Not only is she an extraordinary human being, but she is also an exceptional nurse. I was lucky to have had her. It doesn't get any better than that.

Thank you, Tamara, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
