Tamara Reuter, RN
I am truly honored to nominate Tamara, an admissions nurse at the Frankford Campus, for the DAISY Award. Every day, she shows incredible compassion, professionalism, and dedication to both her patients and her coworkers.
Tamara has a special way of making patients and families feel comfortable, supported, and cared for during what is often a difficult and emotional time. She is especially compassionate with our withdrawal management patients, always treating them with kindness, patience, dignity, and without judgment. Her calm and caring approach helps patients feel safe and respected when they need it most.
What stands out even more is that Tamara is always willing to help wherever she is needed. Whether it’s transporting a patient, accompanying someone to an MRI, or stepping in to help cover nursing assignments when staffing is short, she never hesitates. No task is ever “not her job.” She approaches everything with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others.
Whenever I call Tamara for assistance, she always asks, “Where do you need me?” That simple question says so much about who she is. She is dependable, selfless, and a true team player who consistently goes above and beyond for patients and staff alike.
