Tameeka had a patient who was awaiting surgery and was very anxious and nervous about the procedure. Multiple times, Tameeka talked with the patient and tried to calm him. Because of the procedure, the patient was transferred to a higher acuity floor and Tameeka took the time to go and visit him on his new unit as the patient had no family or visitors to see him. Thank you, Tameeka, for having compassion for your patients and going above and beyond to help calm this patient's anxiety.
