Tameika is always smiling and offering uplifting words. She is a strong, knowledgeable nurse that provides guidance to many of the younger/newer nurses on the unit. Regardless of how busy she is, Tameika will always offer to assist in any way she can.
Patients have stated that Tameika is kind, present, prompt, and fulfills her responsibilities as a nurse in a very professional manner. We received so much positive feedback from the patients in regards to how well Tameika has cared for them, that this year as a unit we presented Tameika with a small token of our appreciation and a "Nurse of the Year" award.
Tameika brings joy not only to the patients she works with, but also to our staff and the Clinical Decision Unit as a whole. You will oftentimes hear her say "I love my job!" We are privileged to have such an amazing nurse be a part of our team!
