She always goes above and beyond for all of our patients on the floor. Most recently, we had a patient who was going to hospice. The patient’s wish was to be able to live his last days at home, he did not want to stay at the hospital or go to the hospice house. She worked tirelessly with the family and provider to help make this happen. She even went on the ambulance to transfer the patient home to be sure that everything went smoothly. With all of the hard work she put into this, we were able to get the patient to his house to honor his last wish. This is just one example of how she makes a difference in all of our patients’ lives.
