My daughter, A, was in the ICU in a very serious condition due to a suicide attempt with a massive overdose of pills. After being on ECMO, she was conscious and beginning to recover. The medical attention was wonderful, but Tami Babineau took it a step further and would get my daughter to engage about her dreams and hopes for the future. A told Tami that she wanted to go to Wake Forest University. Tami recruited her sister (who lives in NC) to send a Wake Forest t-shirt for A. This was her first big smile and it truly helped turn the tide in terms of A being able to envision a positive happy future.
