I was admitted to this unit for pneumonia. As a nurse myself, I know how crazy it can be at times and how hard nurses work. From the moment I met Tami, she made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. She personally set alarms on her phone to remind her when my medications were due. If I felt sick, she immediately contacted the doctors. She asked about my family and my personal/emotional well-being. Knowing I was scared, she came into my room multiple times to make sure I was not only physically okay but also mentally. She made me aware of goals/plans for the day and really educated me on the importance of everything the docs ordered. In my many admissions for this bout of pneumonia, I have never been treated so well as by the staff here. To include the PCNAs and MDs. The values and morals of the staff on this unit far exceeded any expectations I had for my stay. I’ve worked as a nurse for many years and the rarity of empathy and values; however, it was exemplified by your staff, and especially with Tami, RN. Thank you for everything!
