Tami Rechen, RN
Tami has known my son since he was 6 months old. I have called her worried and scared countless times. She is always kind, comforting, and knowledgeable. My son had many issues and surgeries from 0-3 years old. I could always count on Tami.
My son had been doing great for about 8 years, but last night we were back in the ER. I sent urology a message on MyChart this morning and called to make an appointment. I was stressed as the first available slot was further out than I had hoped.
But within about an hour, I had a MyChart message from Tami. Once again, she was kind, comforting, informative, and efficient. She gave me additional information, which eased my mind, found an earlier appointment, which reduced my stress, and just made me feel better. Just seeing her name in my message box made me feel better.
I don’t know why I haven’t thought to acknowledge her in this way earlier; she deserves a 1,000 DAISY Awards and will always be special to us. I appreciate her so much.
