Tami was a bright light during this difficult time
I recently delivered my twin girls unexpectedly at 33 weeks, and I had Tami as my postpartum Nurse during my recovery period. During that time I didn't see her much, because I chose to spend all of my time in the NICU with my babies. A couple of days after I was discharged, Tami was my girl's NICU Nurse and she was a God-send! Leaving the hospital without my daughters was one of the hardest things I've ever done, but knowing they had Tami taking care of them made it just a bit easier. Tami had my girls a few days in a row and she interacted with them as if they were her own. Not only that, she helped put my mind at ease by engaging in meaningful conversation with me. One day I confided in her that my oldest daughter was struggling with my being gone more, so she took it upon herself to go out and get a present for her to try and help with the transition. She even continued to stop by and check on me and my twins after she was no longer their nurse. Overall, Tami was a bright light during this difficult time.
