Tami came into the pre-op area with a bright smile and kind demeanor. She willingly answered all my questions and put me at ease at the beginning of my OR case. My IV wasn’t working, and I was mildly awake. She came straight to me quickly reassuring me and informing me of what was happening, she held and gently grab my cheek when she saw I was nervous. Once calm, she started my IV and continued to talk me through everything; her healing touch and instinct eased my worry and resolved my issue. She is a kind and nurturing spirit. I went under her anesthesia calmly because she recognized my worry quickly and came to my side. I’m thankful for her. Her nursing student is lucky to have such a preceptor.
