This nurse is one of the most deserving nurses I have ever worked with. The entire team would like to recognize her as an Extraordinary Nurse for the following reasons.
Her kindness and compassion along with her strengths of character are her compasses; she leads by example based on her BayCare values and her personal morals as the guide by which she manages our unit. She is approachable, and professional and epitomizes BayCare's culture of caring and nurturing.
She excels as a nurse manager, her skill and experience in our unit make our patient care experience exceptional. She is a knowledgeable resource ranging from patient care to hospital policies. She tends to her staff's well-being as well as our patients. She is our touchstone. She remembers our milestones, and our celebrations and offers support and a helping hand if we struggle.
She always encourages us to do more, strive to do better, and improve ourselves. She is engaging and is present in each of our lives. Her attention to her staff's satisfaction makes for an optimized working environment despite the professional struggles on hand. Tamie is the glue to our unit.
