It is impossible to summarize in a few words the kind of nurse Tamieca Holloman represents. I've only known her for 5 days and she has shown the utmost compassion, care, and love. I feel she is a born leader and was ready for the challenges and innovative strategies needed to help me through my hospital stay. When she was present in the room with others, she was absolutely respected. She brought in a smile and left with one. I had an open wound infection and she had to change the dressing daily. She talked me through it, stopped and called the attending physician when necessary and made me feel secure in a time of severe physical pain. She goes beyond to make her patients feel supported. On days she was off duty, she would come by to check on me, just truly devoted to her job and keeping her patients comfortable. She is an Extraordinary Nurse!
