Having a baby is hard, but having a 27 week 2 day preemie is stressful, nerve-wracking and extremely hard. When you have a nurse (more like an angel) who is compassionate and extremely knowledgeable about her job it makes this journey reassuring, less stressful, and a whole lot easier to get through. Even when she's not my baby's nurse, if she's in earshot and hears his machine go off she's the first one on the scene. She always speaks when she sees me, and what touched me is when I felt as if I was going to have a nervous breakdown and crying uncontrollably she gave me a hug and just said inspiring words. That really helped me calm down. I tell you what, there are not many like Tamika. She goes above and beyond and her attitude is always the same... positive and upbeat. She is beautiful inside and out.

Thank you, Tamika, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
