Tamika Johnson 2025, RN, BSN

Tamika is the best nurse we have had during our entire stay at University of Chicago, and we have been here for several months. She truly shows compassion, which has made such a difference to us these last few days. She has had excellent communication with me as a concerned and present daughter due to my father not being able to communicate, just simply explaining medications, advocating in getting treatments on time, making sure he is clean and comfortable, most importantly being attentive and showing empathy. Exceptional bedside manners, always took time to listen to my concerns, she always assessed my dad’s needs and just went above and beyond in caring for him. I will always remember her positive attitude, support, and comforting ways. Amazing nurse…this hospital is truly blessed to have her.
