November 2022 Honoree
Tammi L Wells, BSN, RN
RN Tammi was one of the RNs I had the entire time being a Behavioral Health. I do not think I have ever felt so close to an RN as I was with her. She sat in my room for hours listening to my stories about my life. She let me hear about her life experiences. She gave me advice and she made me feel worthy. We laughed and talked. She truly made a huge impact on my stay and deserves to be recognized for her wonderful work. She is absolutely amazing and I do not think I could ever thank her enough. She left me with “homework” to make a list of pros and only about myself/my environment. I couldn’t quite come up with much for that, but I did make a “to-do” list for when I get out and she told me she was proud but it wasn’t words. She had love, meaning, and kindness in her words. It meant a lot. She deserves the absolute best and I am so thankful for her.
Thank you, Tammi L, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
