In your 29 years of nursing you have undoubtedly seen many people die and yet you do not seem jaded or immune to what loved ones may be going through while being so close to passing. When my mother was in your care at the end of December, and her death was imminent into the new year, I was in fear of how I would feel and act. Indeed, having never been at a bedside while someone was dying, the intimacy, emotion, and fear could have been overwhelming. And yet with you there for every step of my mother's journey to the great beyond it was not. You were beside me, explaining what was happening and what to expect. Because of you, I was not fearful. You held my hand and never let go. Your tender loving care gave my mother a good death. I believe she died peacefully. May you always be as compassionate and caring as you were with me. I love you for it! I will never forget the love you showed me. I am eternally grateful."
