We had a patient who had been with us for a while and started declining. Her family was not here with her so anytime Tammy got caught up she made sure to go in there and sit with that patient and hold her hand and reassure her someone was there with her.
Tammy treats her patients like family always and makes sure they feel loved in their last hours with us. She is a patient advocate and always does what's best for her patients. She is a good role model for new nurses and always shows them at the end of the day what's most important -our patients! She is always positive and goes above and beyond.
I know personally, Tammy has taught me so much and I hope I am half the nurse she is!
