Tammy-Louise Thompson, RN

Tammy was the first person we met as we arrived on Hogarth Ward, and immediately made M and me feel safe and welcome. Since that day, she has been by M's side and mine, and nothing has ever been too much. She is so caring and professional. If we’ve not understood things, she is patient, explains things, and finds answers to our questions.

The way she has looked after M is amazing, and she feels like such a safe pair of hands. She obviously loves her work; it shows every day, whether it's changing fluids or removing staples. She manages to keep our spirits up during an incredibly tough time. I cannot thank her enough; we couldn’t do it without her.

Also, thank you for keeping M's PICC line dressing safe even when it presented challenges. You’ve managed to sort them out.
